    Nothing wrong with that….
Reminds me: I gotta clean out my garden before it gets too cool.
    Have fun!

Gardens for food are awesome in my opinion. One of the ways I will be spending my time once I disappear. Gardens for flowers that look pretty mean nothing to me.

Spent time detailing the car, laying in some new mulch and mowing and fertilizing today. Good hard work feels good. Now tomorrow I golf.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

Gardens are like investments. They produce so much for your given input.

    And I like FLowers..

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home

My Gardening Project is still proceeding…it’s very hard work…and very slow…working the soil. Almost done breaking up the Hard Pan and fishing out the netting from the Sod that was laid down 17 years ago. Noticed some stuff buried in the ground: plastic bags, PVC piping bits, shattered bricks and tiles that the Home Builder buried and covered up…going to take my Prospecting classifying screens and classify those objects out…then start Double Digging in a lot of Organic Soil Amendments….
I tested my soil…and it is a Sandy Loam but with almost no Organic Material…so it forms a Hard Pan….my City will give away free Compost…just have to bring my truck and a tarp and proof that I live in the City…..and some Tree Trimming businesses offer free Wood Chips….going to take advantage of this…and add in peat moss…different manures….and a bit of Perlite….

Then once done…(expecting several months from now) will plant my first Cover Crop Mixture which will include Fava Beans and Barley or Oats I think…to fix nitrogen deep in the soil and to put down a network of roots and to suppress weed growth….do this several times…then plant my first crop.

When I cleared my small plot I shifted 14 tons by hand. There was a huge amount of rubble and trash that had to be skipped. It’s on a 1:10 slope, so I terraced it. I then built a small workshop/tool store on one of the levels.

Very hard work, but immensely satisfying.
