If the Japanese analysis (found here Nikkei) is correct it is rather obvious that the DPRK has some serious “help” in their ballistic missile program and did not design this themselves.

Supposedly the rocket engine thrusters are of Russian design. This resonates back to the Korean War where Russia supplied the norks with weapons, ammo, etc while China supplied the meat shields. Thoughts?

Putin is saying that North Korea will not back down. Saying it as if it were a fact. He’s trying to get something started. NK is just one of his chesspieces.

Korea is on a peninsula, they have no inland launch capabilities making their rockets vulnerable to pulse gun attack from both sides and the south, their only clear shot is over Russia and China but I think those two don’t want to sign off on letting the DPRK fly over their airspace, otherwise a full retaliatory attack wound be underway for Beijing and Moscow.

Carnage, don’t give up! You may just see WW III! Over in 25 minutes! (not including our subs with orders to surface in 6 months for the 2nd strike!) You’re gonna LOVE IT! Thank China and Russia both for bringing back the days of DEFCON 1!

Ahh but that doesn’t mean that Fat Boy Kim won’t launch some of his fearless troops into the south over the DMZ.

We could have a Syria situation…groups fighting it out in different areas, with both sides arming their respective chess pieces. Add a bit of drone striking and throw a bit of Russia and China in and we have a nice complex, bloody conflict!
