I would prefer to see something more surgical. There are lot’s of people there who have suffered enough and don’t need us dumping more pain on them.

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04/26/north-koreas-soldiers-closer-look-militarys-fake-capabilities.html

North Korea is flexing its military muscles again this week, but a closer look at images of the Hermit Kingdom’s soldiers reveals that the fighting force may be better suited for propaganda than actual battle.

Some of the other eye-drawing items in the North Korean parade, items that may have zero combat application, are the seemingly oversized projectiles affixed to the end of some of those soldiers’ rifles. And while they apparently come in a variety of shapes and colors, Pregent calls them “laughable.”

Kim’s military exercises are likely designed to instill fear in his own people as much as outsiders. (Associated Press)

There may be questions about North Korea’s capabilities when it comes to effectiveness on the ground, ballistic missiles and even nuclear capabilities, but experts agree that the artillery units being tested this week present a clear and present danger to our allies.

Travis3000, I agree minus the starving Koreans part (most of this is propaganda and while not bloated with full bellies it isn’t nearly as bad as the media portrays it now. The citizen operated Jangmadang and their trade with China has stablised this situation since the 90s famine).
That said, Un still takes his orders from his Chinese overlords and will do what he’s told or taken out. If not by his own people as you said

Perhaps I’ve overrated my position or explained in a way that wasn’t clear. Make no mistake about it, the N. Koreans don’t have much to eat. Doesn’t that make all of them starving? No does that mean they have enough to eat to be properly nourished? No. Does that mean that they have enough to “get by”? Most likely. Either way the infrastructure just isn’t there to produce food in enough quantities to support both the military and the civilian population adequately. So the N. Koreans see the consequences. And the military is recruited to farm.

Now to your point, Mr. Kim has been sending people to various schools internationally to learn agriculture and yes it is improving. And yes the Chinese are helping, and that’s part of the problem. That was certainly a point that I didn’t emphasize. If I implied that the situation was like it was in the 90s than I apologize, because that isn’t what I mean. An inadequate food supply and infrastructure is the key component here. Starvation isn’t uncommon though depending on whom you listen to(National Geographic being my source, they may be wrong as I may be as well). Al Jazeera has done some work to point out how the base line has improved. The BBC (A la Mr. Sweeney) Has done good work to show what I’ve been talking about.

So I hope that this helps. All in all they call it the “Hermit Nation” for good reason. They’ve got just enough to throw one punch in a knife fight.

North Korea is a f~~~ed up place. This one is from Pravda so we know it’s not fake news like from say organizations like NBC or Vice.

Twelve shocking facts about North Korea Читайте больше на http://www.pravdareport.com/society/stories/18-10-2017/138970-north_korea_life-0/

Generally speaking, human life means little in Asia. This is the reverse side of Buddhism, which the Europeans do not think about much. Although the North Koreans are officially atheists, they come from the same crucible. Depersonalised crowd in front of omnipotent state and the ability to give one’s life in the name of the government and the ideas that it follows – these are characteristic features of the people living in the DPRK.

To better understand the conditions, in which the North Koreans live, one must know a few facts about the DPRK.

    1. The North Korean chronology begins from the birth of Kim Il Sung, not Jesus Christ. Today’s North Korea lives in the Year 105, not 2017.

    2. The first President of North Korea, Kim Il Sung, as stated in his official biography, was born on a volcano underneath a double rainbow, when a new star saw the light in the sky. It is believed that the founder of the DPRK was a “god-like gift from heaven” who learned to walk at a three-week age.

    3. On December 24, the DPRK celebrates the birthday of Kim Jong Il’s mother, the previous North Korean leader. They do not celebrate Christmas. Valentine’s Day in North Korea is known as the Generalissimo Day. It is celebrated on February 14 to honour the day when Kim Jong-il received the title “Generalissimo” posthumously in 2012.

    4. North Korea still practices public executions.

    5. In the DPRK, people work six days a week. During their only day off, the North Koreans “volunteer” to work for the glory of their motherland, so that there is virtually no such thing as weekend there.

    6. A North Korean national convicted of various crimes serves their sentence together with the whole family (“three generations punishment”). If children are born during this time, the next two generations are doomed to spend their whole life in prison.

    7. North Korean women have not been allowed to ride a bicycle since 1996, since the skirt should always cover their knees, and women are not allowed to wear trousers there.

    8. North Koreans are required to register their television sets with competent authorities. There are three television channels available, and one is strictly prohibited to watch something else.

    9. One does not allow to turn the government radio off even in one’s own house. One can only turn the volume down a bit. There are special units that track down those who listen to forbidden radio programs, and this crime is punishable by death.

    10. The DPRK spends about 30 percent of its budget on maintaining military power. By the mid-1990s, hundreds of thousands of North Koreans had died of starvation.

    11. North Koreans are allowed to wear only short hairstyles. There are 28 types of haircuts approved by the country’s administration: 18 for women and 10 for men.

    12. In the event of a fire, the first thing to rescue from a burning home must be portraits of DPRK leaders.

In “Cloud Atlas,” a film based on the novel by David Mitchell, one of the stories seems to show an anti-utopia world inspired by life in North Korea. The story unfolds in 2144, in Neo-Seoul, where the population is divided into naturally born people and clones who form the lower social class. Sonmi-451 is a clone, who works at a fast food restaurant. In the cafe, clones take orders and clean up. All clones are required to wear a collar that allows the supervisor to kill them if they disobey. They live in the restaurant, work 19 hours a day, eat energy soup and never see sunshine. After 12 years of service, the clones are subjected to exaltation procedure, which, as they are told, will take them to a better life. In fact, they are slaughtered and butchered to be used for energy soup.

Got it. You’re right though. That’s why I mentioned Al Jazeera, they’ve put out stories saying exactly what you’ve stated. I’m not endorsing Al Jazeera necessarily here.

So in the end it looks like great minds think alike!!!! In fact this whole website is composed of great minds like the minds that you and I have!!!

No matter how you slice it N. Korea is dangerous but so is a cornered rat.

Report: North Korea Stockpiling Anthrax, Smallpox for Bioweapon Use
A new report from the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard’s Kennedy School states that North Korea is building up its inventory of biological weapons, including weaponized strains of anthrax and smallpox designed to cause mass casualties in civilian populations.

We should give Taiwan, South Korea and Japan 200 nuclear warheads each, and then announce that those countries are now able to defend themselves and tell China we are no longer involved in Asia and whatever Taiwan, South Korea and Japan choose to do with those nuclear warheads is there business, not ours.

If China doesn’t like it, I’d tell them to go f~~~ themselves.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

Good evening RangerOne. Question for you…do you think that Japan and ROK (ours) don’t have them already?

This is something I proposed months ago. I still think this is a good idea.
