I agree with Joe on the US, as a world power, deliberately creating havoc all over the world.
As an example, the Middle East was a s~~~hole.
Then, when the world was about to go oil-crazy, the US conspired with OPEC-types to create petrodollars, which enriched the backwards middle-eastern zealots with more dollars than they could ever imagine spending.

Now getting to the subject of North Korea.
Same situation.
North Korea is a nutty nuclear power only because the people running the US want them to be.

They were handed everything they have and then given every reason to want to have a nuke to prevent us from “liberating” them.

Militarily, they are toothless against the Americans.
NK have the capability to send missiles to the US mainland, but our Navy alone is easily able to immediately stop anything they launch.
I’m not saying that they will, though, because they might need another 911 to justify their next action.
Another means they have is carrying a nuke or dirty bomb into the US and setting it off somewhere.

One of the real powers NK has is the terror threat of launching into Japan or South Korea with those nukes.

Most probable, however, would be an artillery and rocket barrage into Seoul, SK that would kill hundreds of thousands with conventional weapons.
There’s nothing the US or anyone can do to stop the decimation of Seoul if Kim chooses to do so.
Their artillery positions are cave-protected in mountainsides.
It would take days to take all of them out no matter what means anyone tried to do so.

Unfortunately for North Korea and the rest of the world, they happen to be the flavor-of-the-month and there will be a big, expensive war no matter whether anyone likes it or not.

How many administrations are going to put up with this crap? I see people blaming President Trump but we have been at war with North Korea since 1951, when little Donny was four years old and I don’t blame four year olds for wars. We have waited till fat boy says he is going to bomb Guam and threatens the entire nation. Presidents of both parties keep kicking the can down the road. I’m not for an invasion:

1) Who wants that s~~~hole full of brainwashed zombies? Not even South Korea anymore because it would devastate their economy far worse than when West Germany took in East Germany.
2) An invasion would mean banging it up with China. This isn’t the 1950’s and both US and China’s economies would be nearly wiped out. Nuclear conflict would be far more devastating between the US and China than any threat made by the fat boy.

I think we can shut Kim Jong Un’s pie hole with a few MOABS, Bunker Busters and drones without an invasion. China would publicly condemn it but might silently thank us for shutting Kim’s big mouth AS LONG AS WE DO NOT INVADE! He has made direct threats repeatedly and if we do nothing this time, we will be seen as a Paper Tiger. Unless Kim Jong Un has a sudden conversion, I don’t see where President Trump has a choice.
