Web MD has side affects and research on all that I have looked up.

Phenibut was used by soviet union astronauts in the 70s to reduce anxiety, not sure if they still due.

    Brother Lottery,

I think that the B12 has value. I don’t know about the other ingredients.

A lot of the nootropics advertise based upon crap science and placebo effects.

With respect, get your B12, D3, and testosterone levels checked.

A lot of the otc’s work on people who are deficient in things, but don’t work with people who are normal.

I just got my blood work done yesterday.

Ive been taking b12 for the past 6 months, Ill ask about testosterone and D3 though.

I went through a few marathons at work, pushing 12+ hours a day, no weekend, for a few weeks. And I tried various options to keep me awake and focused, although I did not try any of these stimulants/supplements that you mention.

I did try the usual: caffeine, energy drinks, pumping myself with vitamins, listening to motivating music. They don’t work on long term. Caffeine and energy drinks give me a boost for a few hours, but then I feel very tired. And if I try to sleep I cannot sleep well because the effect doesn’t wear off quickly.

The only thing that worked well for me was diet and exercise. I was eating protein, vegetables and fruits at every meal, and I did a moderate amount of exercise spread throughout the day. As in run for a few minutes, work for a couple of hours, do 20 push ups, another round of work, 20 crunches, work again and so on. I managed to work some crazy hours with this method for almost 3 months. The best thing about it was that I was feeling very tired when I went to bed so I slept well. The same cannot be said about my colleagues who were on caffeine, who looked like zombies.
