This has been something I’ve been interested in trying for a while. I gotta admit, I have a vested interest in resetting my brain, breaking the dopamine addiction, and possibly even “flatlining”. The latter is of particular interest, as having the sex drive of an elderly man would be beneficial to a man going down the MGTOW path. Anyone ever try it? Experiences to share?
I tried it this summer for 1-2 months before some of my martial art fights and tournaments. The gain in testosterone increased my muscle pump, longevity in workouts and healing from soreness. Albeit was slight though every little bit helped.
Downsides was constant boners, tenting in slacks at work and aggressive behavior towards BS. I am not a PUA but a woman commented towards me once that I had a “fierce stare” while under NoFap. I was just buying a water at gas station!
This winter I will try again and combine with meditation to calm me down during long distance runs. A lot of boxers do it months before big fights.
I recently stopped practicing NoFap since work is getting hectic (16 hour shift today) and when I get home I just want to release and hit the hay..
Good luck though the first 10 days are the toughest.
Tried it didn’t work, made me rather crazy and rabid.
Seems to me more effort and frustration than it’s worth.
And being in need of release ‘right now, all the time’ is counter to MGTOW ideals, like, one would need a GF in order to achieve daily release. (and no time to be fussy, you’ll give her a vag pass)You can't reason with unreasonable, there; women, figured out, there is nothing to reason.
Idno, its a weird one, nofap is.
I mean, if your approaching nofap as a thing that will make you a chick magnet (Which a lot of nofappers are, i think), then that is a wrong attitude.
These guys need to be referred to MGTOW, and if they continue with Nofap, see it as something to test themselves, there self control, and a way of increasing their man power.But really, just stopping caring about women at all is more empowering than not jacking off for a year.
Doing both would probably make you a very changed man indeedUnder nofap condition it is common to do exersice in order to burn stress and release pleasure to the brain :D.
I either fap or bench.Sometimes both…. not at the same time OFC! :D.

As someone with abnormally high testosterone (tested) and an enlarged vas deferens I decided to embark on this “No Fap” experience. Here are my results:
First Attempt: Lasted three day and caved. I was more horny than usual and even the slightest sight of ass/cleavage gave me a lasting erection.
Second Attempt: Lasted two weeks. I felt edgy, like something was off. I was very tense all the time. Had a slight boost in confidence with approaching women. May have been a placebo affect or desperation
Third Attempt: Lasted a whole month. Had my Testosterone levels checked by the doctor. The same as I started. The exact same.Synopsis: Fap all you want. I personally fap once a day or every other day. It keeps me level and it feels good. It does not affect your testosterone nor will it give you a “boost”. It’s purely psychological and placebo based.
This topic is most certainly age-relative. I think anyone considering this is probably under 30 and has testosterone raging. Correct me if Im wrong.
I have a mantra that would be seemingly contrary to my position on this; but this topic is unique.
Said mantra:
Whichever appetite you feed only becomes stronger.
But were talking about busting a nut here. I cant speak for the rest of you, but for me the MOMENT before I bust a nut Im thinking in these EXTREMELY passionate concepts: “Id do anything for this!”
Then, the very fraction of a second it takes to spill ones seed, sex is on the lowest of my list of needs. There truly couldnt be a more stark contrast in desires like turning a switch.
If your pre 25 no amount of sex or jerking off is probably enough. You start losing thay RAGE after that; especially in mid 30s. I dont think not jerking off is going to help anyone.
Im in my 30s so its a bit different. I think if youre young and raging with hormones then the only way not jerking off would help you not wanting sex is if you NEVER had visual stiumulus of half naked women. Which is virtually impossible.
Btw I f~~~ing HATE the phrase “fap”.

I’ve refrained from fapping for a two week period before. It helps me concentrate but I don’t its all its hyped up to be. The only reason I occasionally do it is because I think it is a good test of discipline.
I read it’s good for prostate health to ejaculate at least once a week
