Meeting a future girlfriend or wife at the office (or workplace) was a common thing for guys in the 20th century. When men and women spend a lot of time together, they will naturally develop romantic feelings for each other.
Now that there are strict sexual harassment laws, and a #MeToo movement, men should be cautious about their social interactions with their female co-workers. Some women are so hyper-sensitive that you can’t even compliment them if they get their hair done or wear a nice outfit.
My advice is to leave woman alone unless you have some important, work-related stuff to discuss. I think light conversation in the break room is fine, but if the conversation leads to sexual comments, sexual jokes, or something you sense is controversial, politely excuse yourself and go to the restroom or go outside. Try not to get trapped by women who don’t care about you and your career goals. If you say something offensive—even if you clearly don’t mean it—you may get fired. If you post something on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., that has a hint of controversy, or if it looks like you’re flirting with women, you could be fired.
I used to work in a warehouse. It was just us men, so we could all relax and speak freely. The work has hard and hectic sometimes, but I didn’t mind so much because my co-workers would crack me up with dirty jokes. There’s no way you could have that much fun with women around. At the time, I was trying to date women who worked in other departments. It didn’t seem like a big deal—some of my co-workers did the same thing. I won’t do that now. I just go to work, say hello, do my job, say goodbye, and get the f~~~ outta there.

Associating and talking with women in the work place about things non-work related is now a major liability for men. I wouldn’t even sit in the break room with a woman without other people being there. I would just get up and leave. Unless she asked why I wouldn’t say a damn thing. Let them figure it out. If she did ask I would tell her that it is inappropriate to be alone with women.

Women that work at the same company as you should be a strict no-fly zone and you shouldn’t allow yourself to be in the same room with just one of them without a 3rd person there as a witness. That way no false accusations can be flung because all she has to do is hint that she felt uncomfortable and you as the man are fired, no investigation, no nothing, you’re shown the door. I’ve already seen some articles about c~~~s complaining that men are “behaving” in the office and that they are not getting the attention that they are used to. The article mentioned that 20% (or some similar number, I can’t remember) of marriages started in the office.

There’s no decent females in my work-place anyway. They’re all land-whales, drunkards, or nutters, or any combination of these.
My parents met whilst at work, fell in love, got married, got a house, had 2 children, etc… but that was the 1960s/1970s (UK). It’s not the same type of culture/society now; it’s dangerous/toxic now, to get involved with any girl/woman. It’s all over with women; not just in the work-place, but even outside of the work-place. Modern girls/women are un-tenable in a relationship/marriage and culture/society and the law are rigged against men… so do yourself a favour and don’t bother.

It is also spreading to other venues as well. As people become more ‘connected’ via social media, what you do anywhere matters everywhere. The best policy is no contact where possible. And stay the f~~~ off social media.

Nailed it brother, I know some c~~~s who complained that “focused too much in their carer” and now are miserable, alone, and too old for anything else. Like that video that you sent me once, “forever miserable”, they pretend to be empowered, pretend to be happy, pretend to not give a crap, but we lived with several similar c~~~s, and they just fake it to not look so miserable to the society, to show to people that they don’t like that they are doing well.
One night with any of them, and you wake up listening to her nagging about anything and everything, so we all can realize the obvious, they are forever miserable.
What you think about their college degrees brother ? I bet a beer that the next “generation” of employees will be the ones with more practical experience, self-taught and college will be considered something not so useful.
