As a reclusive anti-social gamer, I am already planning for the inevitable escape that this game will grant me.

-A game world as big as our actual universe? Check.
-Infinite number of life size planets to explore? Check.
-Infinite variety of ecological and biological life systems? Check.
-Power to wipe out an entire species? Check.
-Being consumed by a bean bag chair whilst wearing a virtual reality headset and role playing as Buck Rogers (with no females to scold me for my lifestyle choices) ? Double check!

I’ve been let down by an upcoming game’s media hype before, but gosh darnit, I really hope this thing lives up to it’s claims!

I don’t know if I should admit this, but my favorite game(s) are still the MYST / RIVEN / EXILE series. I know, I know, they have games in more than 640×480 resolution now…. and it’s a little like saying I like SpaceInvaders, but those Myst games are my favorite. If you know any others in the same Genre, please let me know!

Nothing embarrassing about that man! Adventure/puzzle games like Myst have always been my favorite. Portal 2 is the most recent that comes to mind. I have enjoyed that game a dozen times through!

Yes I prefer the intellectual aspect of it. Those shoot ’em and burn ’em games have zero appeal for me – much like watching contact sports. Chess, tennis, golf is more my style and I prefer the strategy. Thanks for recommending Portal 2.

Yeah, I’ve easily logged over a 1000 hours just roaming around open world games. This is touted as an open UNIVERSE game! To be honest, its going to take me a lot of self control to have a life when this game comes out. I would probably be better off if I never even buy it. 😉
