[This is old news, but it is still going on. In my opinion, the real object is to screw these men out of their pensions. -RD]

Key quote: “As a family, we kept our commitment to the Navy. I guess we just thought they’d keep their commitment to us, too.” [This is also true in the civilian sector. Your employer demands your loyalty, and repays you with none in return. The lesson in all this is: Build up a sideline source of income for that inevitable day.-RD]

Funny enough you say that, man. Evidently in my case it rings so true.

It only happened to me the other day. I was wondering about when my employer might pay me the remains of my paid holidays I just took. Having made some enquiry in that regard had left me utterly sobering. They claim that I no longer fulfill the requirements for my holiday entitlements until further notice, so they only paid out a fraction of the whole deal and basically avoided paying the remains of it (for the time being), money that I actually relied on to get.

Makes me rant (once again) in the direction of: “The very minute I might happen to make a bit more money on the side than usual (ie. not by working for those misers but for the freelance market), I shall then take a few months off and start my own business. Or better still: in case I might win some extra cash (even if it only was a few thousands) I could “buy” myself a job well worth doing, rather than being depending on the corporate day job, which at this point unfortunately is currently more or less all I’ve got, albeit a pain-in-the-ass-situation, straining my nerves more and more by the year. For my own start up freelance job(s) I’d have s~~~ lots of niche ideas, but at the moment I simply lack the starting-up-cash, which my bank obviously won’t grant me. What another blow to my endeavors…!

Well, sorry about the rant, fellas…    … but at this stage I am really quite p~~~ed off towards the end of my so-called “holidays” (which in fact were mostly wasted), since around the middle of the week it’ll be —> back (on and off) to my s~~~ job.

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

Now, forget my last statement. I am now very much on the verge to recover from this latest setback, luckily enough…
