Of course, if no men had been nominated, feminists would say it’s right and just.
Anonymous1Hahahaha
Typical female behavior: if things don’t go your way, WHINE AND QUIT! The manginas will probably go back on the nomination or do something similar to appease the pussy. I say: GOOD F~~~ING RIDDANCE! It only shows that for women, ATTENTION is more important than anything else, including RESEARCH. Don’t mistake attention from credit. I believe to give credit where credit is due. But quitting for not being PRAISED enough? F~~~ it. It is nice to be recognized, but if you are not, guess what, you MOVE ON and/or you work HARDER.
Geez, wanting nomination for having a vagina alone is freaking insane…
Maybe because they didn’t earn it? No, no it couldn’t be that…it’s gotta be some sexist evil men holding us back.
I remember one time when I was was accused of–get this–“gender bias” in my marking a set of lab reports, while I was an instructor at a certain post-secondary institution. The departmental administrators used the incident as yet another reason they should get rid of me. The matter was never investigated or, if it was, it didn’t include me.
Of course, the possibility that the women in that class did lousy work never came up…..
If there is anything that bothers me when it comes to women and the feminist movement, it is whenever they complain about women and their involvement in STEM fields.
Women only have ~25% of STEM positions (or whatever number they like to throw around these days)? No women are getting nominated into the Science and Engineering Hall of Fame? Tough! Stop complaining and apply yourselves! Stop taking your useless education in “women studies” and go into a STEM field! STEM fields are not for little babies. They require hard work, dedication, and a solid head on your shoulders. One should not be able to get a free pass just because they have a vagina between their legs. STEM needs the best and most dedicated available minds, and if it happens that those minds are attached to males, then that’s how it goes! Easy! One shouldn’t need a red pill to figure that one out!
Who gets to nominate these people, anyway? Apparently both of these women are on the selection committee! They nominated 4 people in total! Unless these people were among the best of the best of the possible candidates, I would be very much questioning the credibility of the Science and Engineering Hall of Fame. They better not be pushing for quotas or anything stupid like that.
Duro:
Considering that political correctness is Canada’s second state religion (hockey being the first), it wouldn’t surprise me if quotas were the issue.
