    I just got back home after roaring around on the highways tonight on my Harley. The air was cool and crisp, the moon shining bright, the traffic volume light, the Road King loud and running strong. The women in the bars where I stopped briefly for beers were… I don’t know, I guess inquisitive. I paid them no mind and rode on. God I love motorcycling at night. I’m going to make a personal commitment to myself to get out more and enjoy night riding like I used to when I was in my twenties. F~~~ Mothers Against Drunk Driving! I’m going out and have some fun!

    Right on man! I grew up with scooter trash, so be you and f~~~ the collective mindset of passivism. Just be careful of those trained to kill us, because they LOVE there extortion pieces of paper. You know the ones….no one was affected in a negative way, but you STILL must give us money and even some of your time….because we said so. Freedom is so frightening that humans ALWAYS give it up willingly. Funny that.

    I ride an old Trumpet. One night out in the country, the lucas ” Prince of darkness” came to visit!

    No head light at 60 mph. Pitch black.

    Didnt crash. What a ride!!

    When I saw the title “Night Rider” I was expecting an 80s TV show starring David Hasselhof, but that would be Knight Rider, not Night Rider.

    The only time I prefer the mega highways is at night. One headlight and the roads around me allow deer to hide until it could be too late.

    The cooler heavier air also makes every highway underpass an extra loud echo chamber.

    Thanks Ogre! I spent most of yesterday on the bike again, but was so tired at the end of the day I didn’t go back out again last night. I know what you mean about the underpasses acting like and echo chamber. Often times I just crack the throttle open just a tad to accentuate the effect. Ride safe brother : )
