The court of public opinion has no statute of limitations. Facts are also negotiable there. How the jury feels is really the deciding factor.

I do find the jurors in these #metoo cases to be rather interesting. You basically have 4 categories.

You have men that believe it all. They want women to think he’s on their side, as if it will get him somewhere.

You have women that believe it all. The want to ride the #metoo wave in order to gain the attention and benefits that come with victimhood. They believe that some how, a good guy will love them for it.

Basically there is no statue of limitation for rape or sexual assault in California. This was changed recently so it won’t affect Scott Baio, but going forward, its basically whenever the person discovers they were injured by the event (subjective again) and decides or wants to come forward, no matter how far in the past was the underlying alleged event.

I knew girls who were sleeping with men as early as junior high school, they knew what they were doing, they were not victims. She was 15 or 17 or so having a relationship with a 24 year old? Not as unusual as one would think. When female teachers do it today they barely get a slap on the wrist. Whatever happened it happened thirty years ago, it should not even be news.
