Do too much at work get punished, fired, or transferred. This doorman got the exit door.

hahahahaha
We can’t have employees being nice! ! ! This is an outage! Our company stands for mistreatment of customers not being nice to them!

It’s always the nice guys and the hard working males. I keep thinking I could lose my job any day because of the same thing. I certainly hope not. I love the workplace, but I could use a change in department (and not to mention a little more an hour…$11.45 is not easy to live on)…but that literally takes re-applying for a new position and sitting through the waiting game like everybody else.
No good deed goes unpunished. I hope that guy gets a job from an outfit that deserves someone like him. Those S.O.B.s who fired him sure as hell don’t.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

EA, is that you?
Had it happen or attempted a couple of times. Last time someone tried to do this, I had worked countless hours off the books, blew the performance figures off the charts, contributed materials out of my own pocket; and even stopped by on the way to work to shovel my boss out so she could get into work (God forbid her 400lb cuckolded husband should risk losing a few pounds through productive labour). When some new associates came in bearing promises of free lodging and childcare (necessary to flee a foreclosure and bankruptcy, and shack up with her next domestic victim), it was the old “thanks for all the goal points, now wear yourself a bum-print on the bench” uffshuffle .
Problem was, for the previous few months, she had tried to score points by lending me out to another division. The new manager opened a rec for me, and I was over the fence before you could say “run, Forest, run”. Her last words to me were how she would get the both of us fired over this. Not being able to go after him or me, she proceeded to try and get my girlfriend-at-the-time (one of her “besties” 😉 ) the sack. Most pathetic part, the two are now thick as thieves (absolutely no pun intended). Never been much of a WIIFM type, but perhaps this old dog has learned some new tricks.
