“The first person I told that I was retiring from the NFL to become a pro wrestler was my ex-wife and her reaction was that she hated it and that I was being selfish for retiring at a young age.

“I haven’t thought about what’s next yet. I love Ring of Honor and I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been in my life, hands down. Money doesn’t make you happy,” he says. “I’m way happier doing this than playing football. Football wasn’t happiness to me. That was a job. This isn’t a job. This is me doing something I love.”

This man known as Moose as his wrestling name who is 6’5 feet and 295 pounds eventually became a dominant wrestler in the second biggest promotion in North America which is tna wrestling where he became multiple time tna wrestling champion. I guess his ex wife wanted him to make as much money as possible at the cost of his happiness.

    Hypergamy thy name is woman.

    Never a shocker

In fact we don’t even have to do anything because these women do all our marketing for us

Damn i didn’t know Moose was married. I wonder did he lose big in the divorce. As soon as he gets his skills up, WWE will come calling and he really will be rolling in dough. She f~~~ed up.

If his ex wife is so into football, maybe she should join the Lingerie League and make her own money at it. Oh, wait! Did I just suggest that a woman be responsible for her own future? My mistake.

Glad he’s doing something he enjoys doing. I’ll watch ROH every once in a while, they show it on Saturday afternoons on FOX. Not quite the same coreographic skill level as the WWE but still entertaining. Football or professional wrestling though, either way his body is going to be messed up by the time he retires.

I’m a wrestling fan, but what do you expect? Women will be women.

I miss those Bra & Pantie matches the women used to have. F~~~ this Divas Revolution crap. The ratings were higher when the women were stripping.

The wife thought she could take more of his money if he stayed in the NFL.

She didn’t give a damn about his happiness. It was always about her.

Dream killer I would call her but also I would question him sinse pro wrestling is a dead industry. It’s not like the 80’s, Monday Night Wars era, Attitude era when wrestling is really good. Plus really if his goal is to be in the WWE as a black man look what happened to Titus O’Neal and yeah I get he was simping saying ladies first when he touched Vince but Vince over reacted to suspended him for like a month or two. It’s a real bad industry because back in the old days when you were fed up with the promoter you’d just go work in another territory. Now that element is gone. Yes there is the indy circuit but really how much do those guys make.
