I made the mistake of switching from working in the Trades with Men to Working in an Academic setting. Teaching and making discoveries new to science was supposed to be a dream come true. Using my mind instead of my back was supposed to be a Worthy Advancement.

Yes, I use to complain many times about the numerous “Blue Pill Slaves” who worked alongside me in the Trades. Now I miss them all.

Right now, I’m coming to the end of my enlistment. I use to enjoy being military, now I’m just sick of it. I plan on moving back to Portland Oregon where family is at and start fresh. Go to school, get a degree or learn a trade. I’m gonna wrap things up here in Texas and sale my house. Texas has been good to me but the memories down here aren’t good ones.

I like to get outdoors and hike. I enjoy rugby and already found a team in Portland to play again after getting into shape. I also enjoy writing stories, I haven’t done it since I’ve joined the military and got married but now I have plenty of time to do it.

After the divorce things have great. I’m not lonely, I’m at peace. I enjoy the solitude of my home without the thoughts of whining and bitching all the time. My Ex still calls me but I just ignore it, can’t begin to tell you the amount of messages I have. She’s insane.

It sounds like you have your act together and a good head on your shoulders. Take a weekend (or several) to get away and contemplate the kind of future YOU want to live. Don’t fall prey to the guilt trips. There is NOTHING wrong with you seeking to understand your unique qualities and gifting to become all that God has created in you.

Then ACT on what you discover. Develop a plan and work it out. Set discrete goals and work on them until you achieve the things you want. YOU can do it, and your beta conditioning is all that is holding you back!

Welcome Matt. I am new to this site, but I can tell you that this is the right place for you. I’m a vet, I was in the military many, many moons ago. It’s a great place to turn MGTOW. The greatest thing I’ve found here is that it’s welcoming and it’s for men, men like you and me.

I slacked off on my blue color work/ opportunities to pursue advanced degrees and become a scientist. I believed the bulls~~~ that is promoted about Academic and “Professional” careers which are really toxic for men these days. These institutions are extremely hostile to all Heterosexual Men. And White Heterosexual Men are the most vilified.

It is sad to hear the denial of most of my European American colleagues. These highly skilled and credentialed men are unable to find work as Professors anywhere in Western Civilization. These guys are unwilling to see that communist feminists are running these institutions, even the Engineering and Science departments.

The savage Academic and “Professional” life for an individual man these days is similar to a bear being taken down by a bunch of hyenas.
