New to MGTOW

I have been watching some of the videos on YouTube by Sandman and reading up on this thought process. While I agree things are pretty lopsided between men and women, the MGTOW thought process may be a little to the extreme. I am here because I am tired of some things between men and women but I don’t see myself cutting women off to the degree some are talking about. I believe I can learn something from MGTOW but I doubt I will take on the entire MGTOW philosophy as my own. I see it similar to PUA..there are areas that you can pick out to help you improve yourself and your approach with women but to hell with trying to pick up a woman who is married or involved with another man and making out with random chicks over and over (herpes, anyone?). I draw the line there with PUAs. F~~~ that, it’s dangerous to be randomly tonguing down chicks you don’t know from a hole in the wall.

My point is I am here to learn and apply what will help to make me an overall better person. More than likely, like anything, it will be a blend of some stuff from MGTOW, PUA and other sources including my own experience. However, I am going to focus the material that will help to make me better overall and strengthen my interactions with women I.e. Not being a doormat for them, standing strong and calling them on their bulls~~~ but not being a dick about it.

One thing across the board I think is a crock of s~~~ is the whole Alpha vs Beta male thinking. I think some buy way too much into this thought process, including women, instead of being their authentic selves. They become so fascinated with becoming Alpha that they tend to p~~~ off  many around them because they feel they always have to be one-up on everyone around them. I’ve ended friendships with so-called Alphas because I won’t tolerate anyone trying to force their “leadership” on me. F~~~ that Alpha / Beta s~~~. To me, it’s about having self-confidence and a healthy self-esteem and creating and enforcing healthy boundaries, not being a jackass and trying to one-up others to “lead” the pack and be the center of attention.

some of the views are extreme. But many of them are meek, statistical, and most importantly logical.you do not need to take on an extreme view, like an electronically modified woman produced in a lab. a less extreme view is that men are unfairly targeted and manipulated by the court systems making it extremely hard to see your children, much less support  yourself.

you do not need to take a red, purple, or blue pill just yet. You’ve actually BEEN going your own way because now you’re standing right in front of many Morpheuses.

You do not need to be pick up artist. Men going their own way realize so much about female nature, that it’s effortless to talk to women (or pick up chicks). it will however be an effort to not be covertly manipulated and financially sabotage. or sexually infected with a disease.

It’s ok as long you’re not a blue pill man.  I suggest you take it slow, it took me a year to fully understand things in a deep way.  Some things tend to be more extreme because some of these men been hurt pretty bad.  As always use what’s useful and discard the rest.

Well, yeah, compared to whatever you heard for “Sandman” MGTOW WILL seem more than a little “extreme”. Sandman is the ice cream man. MGTOW are the coal miners who know how to get down and dirty. But determining that relationships or marriages fail a cost/’benefit analysis is not even close to “extreme”. You’ll see talk about how to handle women, even some PUAs with a MGHOW spirit can be found here. Plenty of MGTOW here will still date on occasion if the opportunity presents itself and the sex is free.

But calling women out requires some SERIOUS dicketry. Nobody wants to “be a dick about it” but it’s a goddam requirement. I (for one) am truly amazed how vicious I have had to get on occasion when encountering a bitch. It’s practically an art form. Didn’t even know I was capable of it, but women LOVE to start extremely provocative situations. Maybe you’ve never been there (yet), but holy s~~~, there are no limits to the stunts they will pull.

This is a place where every visitor is encouraged take and apply what is of value, and discard the rest.
The only thing that’s “extreme” is how important it is to make up your own mind and arrive at your own conclusions

Lol! Without a woman, Paul would not have been born. Now the wrong type of woman is extremely hazardous to your health but not women in general. That’s where I see the error in some MGTOW viewpoints. Now, being a doormat for a woman and letting her use and abuse you while you continue to be a “nice” guy is a huge problem to me.

There are plenty of married men who have supportive spouses that have their backs. However, I am certain it didn’t come without the man putting his freaking foot down and saying “I am not going to tolerate your crap!” That doesn’t mean he distance himself from all women in general. He just deal with the s~~~ tests from a woman in a way that makes her think twice about s~~~ testing him again. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen again. Hell, he may do his own s~~~ testing. However, my point is that he just stands his freaking ground and don’t let women or anyone for that matter, walk over him.

From my early exposure to MGTOW, it seems some are going MGTOW and distancing themselves in unhealthy ways in place of standing their freaking ground with women and owning their masculinity. Just my two cents before taxes.

I am still going to hang around and continue to learn but with filters on because every group of organized thought can harbor extremists, including feminism. Case in point; You won’t catch me in lingerie, no matter what a feminazi says about men wearing lingerie for their women. What’s next, asking men to carry babies for 9 months? Screw that!

I would classify being a dick as being nasty and gutter in your initial response to a woman from the get go when she wasn’t nasty like that towards you. Now, if you tried to handle the situation with class and she kept escalating the situation to being an all out disrespectful beyatch, then you have the right to verbally smack her down and put her in her place OR take a walk.
