    Here’s something pretty neat, that is pushing the limit of computer graphics and gaming. Yet somehow this technical masterpiece has managed to fall under most people’s radar, maybe because people have lost the ability to appreciate true art?

    These three guys are recreating the entire RMS Titanic in 3D,  as a game and as accurate as they can make it with current knowledge. It looks amazing. It’s Called Titanic: Honor And Glory. It has nothing to do with the movie either, so there won’t be any of that fruity stuff.

    You might want to check out the website for the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri. There’s a lot of interesting information there.

     

    About a year before the centennial of the ship’s sinking, I made contact with an amateur radio station that was set up on the premises.  It was on the air to commemorate the efforts of the two radio operators on board.

    I actually know quite a bit about the subject already because that was my thing when I was younger. But back then I would of killed to have a game like that one there, with the real time flooding and all that.
