Canada has super fast COVID-19 test!!

A test has been developed that can give you a COVID answer in 30 minutes. The deep nasal swab has a slight advantage of marginally earlier pick up of early cases but it takes four days to get the result. The new test is super fast perfect for health care workers that need to be tested more than once. It doesn’t tell you if you’ve had it before (so not an antibody test). The small company that makes it has been inundated with world wide orders and can’t possibly make enough. The Canadian government purchased ALL testing kits. We don’t need to import. You get the result instantaneously so if you are a +ve health care worker you don’t infect others while working.
I hope they give some to US but they don’t have enough. Still many Canadians work at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan (nice Hospital I almost worked there) Maybe we can smuggle some kits to the US. The WHOLE WORLD put in orders. We have to test our nursing homes first. We have a problem with part time workers going to 3 jobs in 3 nursing homes and accidentally spreading it.

Very neat invention. Winnipeg is working on the vaccine (they are the ones that invented Ebola vaccine) Without animal testing they directly injected it into humans since there was an outbreak and no time….guess what….the vaccine worked!!. I think we have to forget about animal testing and go directly to human trials for Covid 19 as well.
Obviously USA gets the tests when we make more….other countries just have to line up.
