Here is the link to the article about the study of more than 2000 college students that the majority say they would rather live as communists or socialists than capitalists.
I wonder who we blame for that?
The real problem is they said they think Stalin was a great leader and Mao Tse Tung and and others.

This is why I do not oppose socialism
socialism is the mandatory public civil religion
I only oppose forced participation
this is why private non-participants will give the mark to all the public servants so they will stop trying to regulate the private.
I have an exclusively private life and private spiritual beliefs that I refused to have regulated out of existence.
I have lived below the level of poverty purposely so as to avoid the public status that puts me into the group who want to bow down at the alters of socialism and was regulated up to the poverty level. I will go back to living in a tent in the woods before being forced into a competing religion.
If my private life is to be regulated I will do the regulating not the uncivil authorities. We do live in a lawless uncivil society.

Public education AND parenting are to blame.

The feminist/ liberal indoctrination over the last couple generations are the root cause.

Parents who don’t let their kids have responsibilities growing up won’t be responsible young adults.

I didn’t learn about balancing a checkbook, paying bills, owning and maintaining a vehicle, etc. until after I graduated high school. It took a lot of mistakes before I figured that stuff out.
