You would be surprised where you can find good music at.

Some of my favorite musical pieces are by John Williams. The European band Nightwish is also good.

Then, there is Two Steps from Hell. They make music for movie previews. With their music usually far better than said movie soundtracks.

This piece of music was used in one of the 2009 Star Trek film preview. This is the only piece of music that makes me feel like I am flying up and falling down at the same time, in a good way:

Sounds a lot like the “mixes” you could put together in the ancient Music Maker program on pc 😀

Even at the age of 12 I was a fan of Iron Maiden and hardrock in general, but when I bought this game/program at the age of 13/14, I would mix the “illest” of beats and odd sounds together to create a masterpiece!

Coming from an all metal corner my taste has changed a lot the last 20 years…

Checked on it again and it seems to be “Vaporwave” like @Dashing Young Dissident wrote, can´t tell the difference to Chill Step though, maybe the difference is that it´s programmed with the left hand?!
A lot of differences in genre´s now need an explanation because you can tell the difference just by listening anymore, either there is none or they´re too marginal.
Most of what´s on the radio nowadays is + 90% “love, love, love here, love there or party here, party there” f~~~ that. I don´t need no one to tell me what to feel when listening to their music. Most of what I listen to has no lyrics or it is older and the lyrics are good and mean something to me, or the lyrics in the music make no sense (being distorted)… just about what the state of the world is today.

Oh man the music today is garbage, mainstream that is. Thank f~~~ for cool stuff like vaporwave and new retro wave.
