Now comes the most ridiculous claim: “Hackers can hack into a robot or a robotic device and have full control of the connections, arms, legs, and other attached tools like in some cases knives or welding devices. Clearly this “expert”, Nicholas Patterson, is confused, and has mistaken sex robots for industrial robots in lipstick. I don’t think he understands that different robots are designed differently for different tasks. See, an industrial robot will be strong and have welding devices because it is designed to build cars. A sex robot, on the other hand, will be soft and pliant and lightweight because it is designed to not rape you in divorce court.

Why would anyone bother hacking a sexbot if they wanted to kill you? Want not just use a drone to do it? It would be a heck of a lot easier to pilot a drone in range to shoot you than it would to be to program a sexbot to visual recognize you, where you’re vital organize are, and how to wield a weapon to kill you. With a drone, recognizing you (and where to hit you) doesn’t need to be programmed. You can see all that by on-board camera. And pushing a button to fire a gun is a lot easier to program than wielding a weapon.

And then there is the tractability of the crime. With a hacked sexbot, you would have to download the updated software, which would traceable by IP and/or signatures in the volumes of code. Most likely you would need to pay someone to do program it, so there is that trail too. With a drone, there is virtually no trail. Destroy the drone after use and you’ll never find out who the pilot was.

Let me put this out there.
1. Everyone is O.K with and allows Windows/MacOS/Android/OnStar etc auto updating with nary a word of discontent despite YOUR device/Automobile no longer performing in the manner in which you configured it because “the Mfr” says it’s an upgrade and will enhance performance yet rarely does.
2. What the supposed “expert” is trying to do is equate a fully functioning Domestic Android, an Industrial Robotic Device, and a “sex” doll as all being the same. Yet one of those things is not yet in existence, and the “dolls” are just that. DOLLS.
They are not ambulatory nor even remotely functional for anything aside from having sex with at this point in time.
3. Any man able to purchase a fully functional domestic android (which includes sexual functionality) would be smart enough to know, understand operations, and adjust the operating parameters of said DEVICE.
Personally, I am fairly good at computers/electronics/mechanics/etc according to all the papers I have filed away, and I can actually go out and afford to pay cash for said device. Which BTW would be over the $10k mark for an entry level android, not <$5k for a non ambulatory, non functioning, silicon DOLL.
If I add in my personal annoyance with women in particular, and most people in general and there addictions with cell phone and internet connections, why the f~~~ would I buy a device that resembles a woman that comes with a 24/7/365 connection to that crap?
4. I will reiterate that there is no such device available at this point in time that can remotely referred to as a Domestic Android that has the appearance, weight constraints (less than 150lbs to be generous), abilities of a maid/cook/prostitute/tradesman/companion.

5. How many financial institutes will loan any individual the funds to afford said “device” that is labeled a “sex toy” for men?
