3. She concludes: “Marriage is no longer essential to a woman’s upward mobility…Women couldn’t be very choosy in the past – they had to be married for both social and economic reasons. They’d be stigmatized if they weren’t and they might not be able to make it on their own. Now the social context has shifted. THEY CAN RAISE THE BAR.”

The interesting thing about these type of articles is that women read that and they think it’s true. They think they can bang Chad’s until around 35 and then settle down if and when they want to. It’s only when they are headed 100 mph into the wall and only feet away that they look around for a life line and find none, when they finally look up and say “Where have all the good men gone?”

It really is a disservice to women to lie to them like that. Although, feeling through my pockets at this time, I seem to be fresh out of f~~~s to give.
