What’s up guys? I’m new to the forums but not new to this way of life.
I honestly didn’t know anything about mgtow till about 2 weeks ago. I’ll try to make this short and sweet , I’m 45, I married a woman who had a little boy who was 2 . I was in my30s (never married before)….Yada Yada yada…..2005 I catch her messing around……gotcha, I packed my s~~~ and moved into a rental house I had. Life was good for the next year. I got my pilots license, built a Harley bobber and drank plenty of beer. She contacts me on the 4th of July and tells me how she missed me and she wanted to make it work. I wasn’t seeing anyone at the time so I said what the hell. She eventually moved from our primary house to the house I was at ( 100) miles away. She quit her job and I thought she may have seen the light. Fast foward to 2011. On my f~~~in birthday, I catch her chatting with some dude online and telling him how much she loved him. Turns out she had been seeing this loser at work for 1 1/2 -2 years. While I’m out working my ass off to put her through college, she’s steadily stabbing me in the back and emptying my bank account. I moved again, and I haven’t looked back since. There’s quite a few more dynamics to the story but I’ll keep it to a minimum . Makes me mad to even think about how bad she used me.
When I discovered this site (by accident) I see the big picture and it all falls into line. I have taken a huge bite out of the red pill.
As for the the little boy,he’s 20 now and he calls me dad and rarely has anything to do with his mom. His real dad passed away a few years ago and I am the only dad he has left.Welcome!
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Welcome to the ranks. That was a heartwarming story, it may have f~~~ed you over but it seems you did make a difference for the boy at least.
Now a new life begins.I work so much now it’s hard for me to enjoy the toys I have. One day I will recoup the possessions I had before I got married. I had a few rental houses, and plenty of money saved up for retirement….guess who got that?
