Lawmakers on Wednesday introduced new bipartisan legislation to make Puerto Rico the nation’s 51st state by 2021.

The bill, known as the Puerto Rico Admission Act of 2018 was presented by Puerto Rico’s resident commissioner, Jenniffer González-Colón, a Republican who authored the bill and is a nonvoting member of Congress.

———–Should also bring in Guam or American Samoa.

I wonder how long it will take for the Democrats to take over the island with illegals after the bill passes. There is an agenda here and it is not for the people’s best interest. The article states that over 90% of the population wants to join the U.S. as the 51st state lets see how long that lasts once the illegal immigrants start taking over like they are trying to do in California.

    If it’s “bipartisan”
I’m curious about that ratio; somehow I doubt 50/50.
Carried out to the hundredths, probably more like 99.00 to 1.00 Democrat to Republican.

This is a defacto bail out for Puerto Rico and adds to more democrat party Senators in the Senate and a few democrat party members in the House of Congress.

Statehood should not be considered for Puerto Rico until Puerto Rico gets its house in order.

Puerto Rico is demolished by hurricanes and has been in ruin for several years. There is no help and statehood is probably the only answer.

Puerto Rico is demolished by hurricanes and has been in ruin for several years. There is no help and statehood is probably the only answer.

Keep in mind many of the union members and politicians in Puerto Rico did everything in their power to make things worse after the hurricanes hit to try to embarrass President Trump.

Statehood will only make things worse.

Right now, in theory if the Puerto Rico people got their act together they could fix the Puerto Rico with the U.S. feds not being about to stop them, as long as Puerto Rico does not try to declare independence.
