Check out this lovely piece of work. There was a story of two lesbians wanting to put their child into a Christian school. This blogger proceeds with calling the school “bigoted” for their viewpoints. I pointed out that it seems like a very liberal/left-wing thing to be name-calling, and said he sounds like those “anti-feminists” that say “first and second wave feminism is GOOD, third wave is BAD!” Just read below how he responded to me in a fuming manner.

Seriously, have your own political viewpoints. That’s cool. But don’t call yourself something you’re not.

Yeah, well, what do you expect?
One thing that really disappoints me with people in general nowadays is their lack of consistency. They claim to be for freedom of speech, but only the speech that agrees with them. Claim to believe only on the facts, but ignore facts when those prove them wrong. Claim to be tolerant to people’s personal beliefs, but only CERTAIN religious beliefs. And so on, and so forth.

It’s their school, with THEIR RULES. You are free to disagree with their world view, but guess what so are they with YOUR WORLD VIEW.

Besides, to this new-conservative character, if they are so bigoted, WHY COMPLAIN that they are not accepting THEIR SON! Do you want your son to be BIGGOTED AS WELL? No? Then f~~~ off!

Double standards: it is not only the feminists that use that.

The problem with the terms liberal and progressive is that they are completely relative to the user. That said, it shouldn’t be that hard for this guy to see you are farther right than he is. Here is a good response that he might comprehend: You bigot are bigot not bigot a bigot conservative BIGOT!

Right? He used “bigot” so many times it became a blander word than it already is. My argument wasn’t even for or against anything in particular. It was simply that, by definition, he wasn’t conservative!

From what I understand, a conservative is NOT for gay marriage, is NOT for illegal immigrant amnesty, is NOT for school programs like Common Core, and is NOT for abortion…all things that this guy supports!

Oh, right, he’s a “new-age conservative.” He’s a “modernist,” I suppose. -eye roll-

That’s the whole thing I was trying to present to him and a girl on there called “Proud Gay Conservative.” They’re both all for politicians that are hardly conservative, and then he has the gall to call me some “Santorum voter?” Even if I was, why would that be worthy of criticism or ridicule?

Typical feminist shaming tactics is what it sounded like.
