Never understood this nice guy thing?

I am just very curious. What the f~~~ is this nice guy stuff? How is saying hello and how is/was your day a nice guy? Women who meet me always say I am such a great guy or a good guy. Yet, my colleagues think I’m an aggressive asshole. I treat both the same. I even recall one asking my ex-wife how do you live with him, he’s such an asshole. I must be missing something.

What am I missing?

1.) women are emotional heatsinks; require constant cooling
2.) co-workers can generally suck a dick

I have found that people tend to behave differently at work than they do in other situations. Could this be the case for you?

Just trying to be logical and direct. That’s nice? I treat people with respect; that is how my dad raised me. Once they cross, they’re put on point.

I have no emotion at work aside from getting the job done. Outside of work, with anyone, I am usually very happy go lucky and want everyone to have a good time. I am smiling and telling jokes; some are even funny.

Not having emotion could be interpreted as assholish behavior. I have what I call “resting angry face.” When I Show no emotion I look angry, but I’m not. Perhaps your coworkers are perceiving your lack of emotion as “assholish.”

I used to be a “nice guy”. It gets you nothing. So now in most situations I am just civil., like Joe Friday. I’m not going to be an asshole in most situations, but I’m not going to be to warm and friendly either. Keeps people guessing. I think you should try this.

Simply put it is guys who are nice to women or respect women or some other bulls~~~.

By doing this nice guys show they are lower value then the woman and she instead goes and monkey branches up no matter what position the nice guy is in (he could be a millionaire the same thing would happen).

With assholes we just simply show we are higher value then them and that is without having to be rich or even too attractive (no needing to be Brad Pitt). The behavior of being an asshole does it and it works.

That is nice guy behavior as it implies you give a s~~~ about their day and you hope they have a nice one. For me i give no f~~~s about their day, i do not give a s~~~ about them and they could die tonight and i still would not care.

The only place were i subscribe to nice guy behavior is at work and that is just an act for the customers (f~~~ the coworkers both literally and metaphorically) as their X money buys them the illusion of me giving a s~~~ since the company is the one providing me with benefit also known as money.

Being called an island n~~~~~ (term occasionally used for Puerto Ricans or other people in the Carribbean) or even a child molester is a much nicer then being called a nice guy and i stand by it.

The difference between a child molester and a gentleman is a child molester gets laid.

You should at least insult women for doing that and calling you it.
