Remember when people were all like “Trump isn’t threatening women’s health, you’re being dramatic & looking for the worst” ?
So employers and/or insurance providers won’t have to cover birth control (if a woman can even afford insurance at all), planned parenthood is consistently attacked with each new bill and will likely be defunded, new anti-abortion laws are brought to the table every day……. AND when women are forced to have kids they don’t want they’ll be called sluts who should have kept their legs closed, hit with endless medical bills due to their s~~~ty or non-existent insurance, and be unable to afford to support said child/children but be denied gov’t assistance because nobody likes a slutty freeloader. Or, they’ll die getting a back-ally abortion.

I think the availability of welfare programs is directly related to how difficult it is for a woman to keep her legs closed.

I came to this conclusion a few years ago and have been saving hard for early retirement since. I can’t wait til my passive income affords me a comfortable lifestyle in a lower cost of living country and I’ll have it layered in such a way so I’m paying 0%, or at least a single digit % tax rate. If we could prevent even some of these pregnancies from happening by using birth control, I’d say for every 600 dollars per year we pay in birth control we’d save at least 14,000 dollars it costs to raise a child. And these women have multiple children to game the system.

The Department of Agriculture says the estimated cost of raising a child from birth through age 17 is $233,610, or as much as almost $14,000 annually, the estimated cost of raising a child today.

Each woman not having a child costs (12-50yrs) 38yrs x 12 x $50 per month= About 22K total in birth control for a woman’s entire reproductive period. Since women make up about half the population and they would be paying taxes too we would only have to pay for half or about 11K lifetime contribution per man if every female was on birth control. No more illegitimate children.

That 22 K lifetime birth control costs includes the other 12 kids she would have had if not on birth control the their 38 yrs.

If you could pass a law that with the first on welfare a tubal ligation is required that would reduce the costs a lot.

There is birth to pay for, preschool, school, lunches, dinners, sports, games, clothes, shelter, food, high school fashions, vacations and, potentially, if we’re lucky, college. All free. All paid for by beta simps.

It’s a no brainer. If they had a check box on my taxes that said “Would you like to contribute to free contraception for all?” I would pay.

I see your point, but think about this. Up until this point, they have had free abortions, taxpayers subsidized abortions, and free birth control. They haven’t used it!!! Those numbers that you cited, all happened while they had access to those free programs. Sometimes you when you lead a horse to water, you gotta make it drink. And that’s what Trump is doing.

Making these girls and women be more responsible for the actions that they take. Now, nobody is saying they can’t go out all day and night and f~~~ like rabbits with any Tom, Dick and Harry. They are adults and are old enough to make those decisions. But realize, that when you are grown enough to make decisions, your also old enough to deal with the consequences of those decisions.

Plus even if it is purely a financial win to provide birth control and prevent some potential welfare babies…why are we subsidizing pills that are more expensive than condoms and do nothing to prevent diseases?
