I haven’t gotten laid in several years and it wasn’t for a lack of opportunities. I actually don’t miss it anymore and at my age abstaining really takes no will power on my part at all.

I once had an ex-GF imply that I ‘raped’ her the next morning after a night of totally consensual sex. This event cemented the “minimum necessary” rule in my brain and extended it past just writing code. I thought I was being accommodating and inclusive, since the big push at the time (ironically) was to make the new people in the department feel welcome.

Have you been in a coma? There was just an announcement by Scotland Yard, or whatever, that they would stop automatically believing women’s rape claims because the false rape accusations have been off the charts the last few years.
