I think it’s great that a lot of guys here are connecting like this. Don’t want to knock it at all. I hope though, that we don’t forget that that sort of connection isn’t for a lot of other guys here (including me). I prefer to be more anonymous, and know from experience that some people I can connect with through forums…I don’t connect well with in person.

Let’s not become a click where if you aren’t on zoom, you aren’t ‘in the know’ and on the outside. I am not suggesting that’s the way it is now, but I can see it going that way if not careful.

Again, I am not at all against zoom, just don’t want it to get out of hand and change this place.

I’m very touched to be offered to join, and I think it’s great that men are connecting this way. However being honest, it’s not really my thing. I have too much to do and I’m not very comfortable/good at video conferencing with people I hardly know. I do believe it’s good to try overcoming one’s weaknesses, and I may be more interested in the future. But not right now. I hope this doesn’t seem offensive.

no offense. this sounds kind of whiny. just chill. no one is going to think of you less because you aren’t chatting with the others on zoom unless they are just dumbasses. People are going to be the way they are.

Really zoom isn’t made for tons of people and as more and more want to chat it will be difficult. I am considering starting my own chat soon.
