What was supposed to be a harmless Facebook debate about Trump vs Hilary, and she turned it against me because I’m a white man. This is my first time standing up for myself where I truly felt attacked as a white man.

Her original post: “Can’t believe that America actually voted for a guy that built his campaign on hate, misogyny, homophobia, and xenophobia. The fact that the majority of Americans that voted for him agreed with everything he said is just scary and disappointing. Trump doesn’t even have a political background; it just doesn’t make sense.

Me: it’s his economic background.

Her: just from being announced as president, global stock markets and US stock futures already dropped. Investors are concerned with how his presidency might negatively affect trade and the economy. He didn’t even do anything yet.

Her: but not everyone is as openly racist, sexist, and homophobic as he is. He’s a dude that believes he can grab any woman by the pussy if he wanted to, and even makes fun of disabled people. Most here ditched Facef~~~ loooooooong ago. Too much stupid out there, too little time. The groupthink is sickening, so many cowards… Also, Facef~~~ removes posts from time to time. I left in 2011 after they were removing pro- Ron Paul stuff from people’s private pages.

I delete probably one or two “friends” a week, and as a result my list is making a steady decline. But I don’t give a f~~~ because I’m not some insecure piece of s~~~ who feels validated by the size of it.

I still have good friends on there who don’t have drama, and that’s how I like it 🙂

A friend of mine who knows more about such things as stocks and the market actually eased my fears today. He told me that the markets always dip when we get a new prez. Trump said he wants illegal immigrants to become citizens the right way, and wants immigration from Muslim countries halted for a certain period of time so that we have a chance to better protect ourselves against possible attacks by evaluating the threats. From what I understand he was also for civil unions for gays and lesbians long before it was a subject used by self-serving opportunistic Democrats to garner votes. He has also employed more non-whites and women than your average corporation. Did any of his employees come out and make claims that he was racist towards them? I don’t see any.

She failed to explain how the minorities are being oppressed. If she means that they are being used as cheap labor, then she should blame Obama and the other democrats just as much as the republicans. You can see lots of illegal aliens in front of any Home Depot even in California.
