I have been addicted to a certain drug (starts with a C) for a couple of months and I am trying to find alternatives for it.
Someone know about nasal spray ‘s active chemical : oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.1%?

Its an alpha 1 adrenergic receptor agonist

It seems like it gives a small effect and has helped me get off the harder stuff for 2 weeks now.
    Any thoughts ?

If it is from a MD, then keep going.

I forget but Alkemes have a drug might have some effects, but that is more for opiates, but it is being more broadly studied.

Yep. Alkermes, in Boston. You need to see a MD that specializes in addiction.

I think that if you have made it two weeks then you have got the C drug out of your system. If what you are doing helps than keep doing it. The way I beat the issue was tossing the people who were supplying me out of my life.

Glad to hear that you are doing better and I am amazed that you have had such success with an OTC drug. Since you have tried, now you must go all the way.

I hope you have a speedy recovery.

    If you relapse do this.^^^^^^

Just know it is expensive and you will likely be inpatient for a month at least.

I have been addicted to a certain drug (starts with a C) for a couple of months and I am trying to find alternatives for it.

    What cigarettes, cocaine? crack?

And when it comes to drugs simply put it you must have the urge not to want to do them and you must deal with anything that comes your way (symptoms).

I am not a doctor in any regards and i am not licensed to give any medical advice but me personally would just go cold turkey or if not possible just reduce the usage of the drug to occasional use. Like for example if i wanted to quit smoking id simply reduce the number of cigarettes i smoke to the point were i smoke only 1 a day, then 1 every few days etc.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

Well I didn’t want to write the name of the drug but what the hell it was cocain.

its been 2 weeks and the big craves have passed. I don’t really feel like doing it right now but 2 or 3 days ago it was a pain.

I think im good right now but im taking quite alot of nasal spray.

Im like the last person that can comment on this. LOL

I slammed 11 beers tonight. Took a huge bong hit, 1500mg of Methocarbomol and a shot of NyQuil.

And I don’t think I have a drug problem or any addiction issues.

That’s just what I need to do to be able to go to sleep.

It’s been a rough road from as far back as I can remember (about age 4) and the occasional triumph, intertwined with tragedy and adversity has taken a toll.

I’m still here because I have a mission to take care of an aging 14 year old toy breed Maltese that I formed a timeless & sacred bond with in the last decade.

He is my.last link to this terrestrial realm and I can only hope when his time comes that I can join him at some point at the Gates of Vahalla.
