Just found this website, thought I would upload my experience…

I graduated about ten years ago with a first class degree in history. I then took an MA, for which I was awarded a distinction.

I decided I wanted to become a teacher, and reading about the lack of men in primary schools, I took the less common route – and decided to train in primary schools. Only about 1/8 primary teachers are men – the result is an overemphasis on crap like singing, presentation and tidiness. The boys suck at all of this but are a laugh…

My decision was met with a little sly mockery from the girl I was dating, from female teachers, and from women I met in general. Aww so cute etc. Working with little kids.. GF wasn’t too impressed either. Everyone tried to persuade me out of it. GF said it wasn’t a real job…

I have since gained another MA in education, worked full time (when female staff often work temp/take time out for kids…) and climbed the ladder.

Not in the big leagues of business but I now manage  four small rural primary schools around the UK and manage a staff of around 40 people, 90% women. Salary just under £60 a year…

These days I constantly deal with bitching between the women, and sly suggestions that I was only appointed as I was a man… sexism they cry! oh so not the 10 years experience? The two MA’s?

Cannot win either way with them sometimes…

I’m assuming that this is £ 60,000 a year.  In America this translates to $92,400.

I sounds like you are single still………?  Because if this is true, you are winning every time you cash your paycheck.  Also, if you are single, I’m willing to bet those bitchy women are p~~~ed even more because they didn’t manage to shackle you with a wedding ring or are trying to get you fitted for a wedding ring.

Also, if you were only appointed because you are a man, then this speaks more about the women in your school district and less about you.  If they focused more on being good teachers and administrators rather than on vaginal politics then they to could get ahead.

Success is always going to entail those that will try to tear you down either in their own minds or between other small-minded people that are envious.  The more people complain then the more you are a success.  Bask in the glory they are offering.

Yup. You might be a principle one day and all male students will appreciate you for it. Schools smell so much of unsatisfied tuna meat that it’s not even funny. F~~~ing school them female teachers and get to the top of the pile – they will appreciate you when you are on the top. Bitches will talk s~~~ until you get married, and if you won’t – they’ll keep talking s~~~, but you’ll be on the winning team and all of them will try extra hard to domesticate you, which might lead to a lot of winning in the bed department. Teachers are crazy, but you can do it man, go for it. I hated my school because all the teachers and the principle were all female. But their true nature came out on the graduation night when they all got drunk and told us how it is

proud carrier of the 'why?' chromosome
