So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.
Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.
Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I’m not ready to go just yet, but when I am facing death’s doorway, I hope to be smiling. Thanks for posting.
I hope for a dramatic exit while ‘Im going 200MPH on my bike with my hair on fire.
I won’t be smiling tho, the bugs will stick to my teeth.I hope for a dramatic exit while ‘Im going 200MPH on my bike with my hair on fire.
I won’t be smiling tho, the bugs will stick to my teeth.I agree. My religion is about living the life you want. I like running small boats in all kinds of water. I have no fear of death. I have a fear of being an invalid.
Great post thanks.
My life is now spent on what I spent it on before marriage, the moment. My beliefs revolve around the realizations I’ve had over the past two years of deep thinking and self reflection. I was raised Christian, but then fell out of the church early in my high school career. For a while I went with Atheism because the world hadn’t presented me with any concrete evidence that there is a higher power. Until recently, I had a realization, that no matter what happens to myself the universe has a way of correcting itself and always gets me back up on my feet. How all of my past events that in the moment when they happened, it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to recover and return to the happiness I had once felt before. But eventually, I would pick myself up and things would just work out and I could return to being content again. I guess I believe that there is something, some kind of a higher power out there. Even though there is no hard evidence, I think I would rather believe that there is something that is looking out for mankind. Where else would we get our logic and rational thinking that sets us apart from any other species on earth?
Furthermore, I follow the basic belief of Karma, that what type of energy that you put out in the world, whether it be positive or negative, that is the energy that the world will give back to you. So I always try to be forgiving to others for their faults and wrongdoings. And accept that I too have done the same to another person sometime in my past.
The good and evil will always exist in mankind. Because man has spirit he can do good but, he is also part beast and he will inherently do selfish acts, but maybe if I can do some good then I can help mankind as a whole, and therefore help myself.
Not sure what religion I follow, I would say it could be a mix of Christianity, because there is a creator for everything, but then I feel as though my knowledge is beyond what I could have learned in just this one life, so I suppose Buddhism would describe that.
Finally I’ll end this with a quote by Allan Watts that I had recently stumbled upon. It is about Carl Jung, and the way his actions reflected his virtues.
Jung managed to have wisdom and i think also sanctity in such a way that when other people came into it’s presence they didn’t feel judged, they felt enhanced, encouraged and invited to share in a common life. and there was a sort of twinkle in Jung’s eye that gave me the impression that he knew himself to be just as much a villian as everybody else.-Allan Watts
Thank you for this outstanding post and reminding us of how wise indigenous peoples were.
Hopefully people will start looking back and reflecting on what is currently missing in their lives.
Your post will give them light as they begin their journey.
Just as it can MGTOW members who go their own way.

my beliefs are based on self-examination, reflection, meditation, observation & experience. there is definitely support for life:Air, Water, Temperature,( Sun ) & Matter. Take any one of these away and life goes extinct.I do not believe you can get beyond conciousness, but how did that become to be. so, i believe it always existed in a simple yet vastly superior & all encompassing form It was always here, therefore in some sense I have always been here. I do believe you reap what you sow. ( Karma ) but to understand precisely how it works is beyond an individual mind. I believe there is an order to things, for example mathematics seem to be embedded into the fabric of reality as we collectively experience it. there is an intelligence that is infinite & therefore can meet the needs of every living thing. however, although it can manifest itself to know it any real way is impossible. but to end,why couldn’t this intelligence appear in human form. Lastly I do not disparage anyones religious beliefs. like MTOW we find our spiritual path individually.
