My PlayStation Account Has Been Hacked

While looking through my emails, I noticed 5 emails from PlayStation and they’re all illegal purchases totaling under $200! They bought full games and a subscription (plus). My account wallet went from $181 down to 42 cents in just 15 minutes! I’m on hold waiting to talk with an operator hoping to solve this. It’s an hour expected wait. I am beyond p~~~ed and worried! No doubt this is some high school or college kid, because that’s the age range that would or could do this when it comes to hacking game accounts!

Whoever hacked my account, they stole $181 and never downloaded anything to their system. That’s according to the operator. At least I got my money back and I changed my password to something much more complicating and I also adjusted my purchase setting to ask for my password upon checkout. So problem solved– I hope.

Set up two factor authentication. My ex stole my ps4 and I’m glad I had that set up as well as changing my password and requiring such to make transactions.
