It’s so good to be free, I have said it before and I can not say it enough times. My new year’s eve plans for this year will consist of me sitting in front of the TV, wearing pajamas, watching the college football playoff semifinals, drinking Martinelli’s sparkling apple cider out of a champagne glass, eating pigs in blankets (and other fun foods). No getting dressed up. No leaving the house. No going out somewhere getting drunk and depressed and having to worry about making it home okay being above the legal limit.

This may seem like a real lame night to a lot of guys. But to me, it’s wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better way to spend my New Year’s Eve. You see, the 21 to 31 year old me would have considered this a lame night. A night to feel shame. No wife or even a girlfriend to kiss at midnight. But the 41, almost 42 year old me? I am at peace. I know I am missing NOTHING.

You young guys out there………you hang in there. You read this post and re-read it if you have to. Read my signature. It is the honest truth! You are free and nothing could be better than that.

Between the police road blocks, the crazy drunk drivers, and the bullets raining from the sky, I will be staying home.

    My plans for NYE 2015:

Just me and my dog browsing the internet and playing video games. Maybe I’ll have a glass or 2 of red wine and give my dog a nice walk afterwards. I call that a fun night.

I’m with everyone else on this…only working three days this week, off New Year’s eve through Sunday night…plan on sleeping when I feel like it, watching a lot of college football bowl games, eating whatever and whenever I want and most of all, no drama from the female species…no regrets!!! I hope everyone enjoys their new year in whatever means you spend it…

21 year old here, without friends in this city, without prospects for a night of pure dissipation which I’ve never experienced, who will be spending a rather bittersweet evening alone, much like yours. My hope is that when my age is doubled, I’ll be like you.

No bars for me. It has been a long, long time since I went out on ‘amateur night’. The hills are jammed with ski tourists, the roads are icy, and the highway patrol will be on the warpath. I don’t want to be around a bunch of drunk tourists anyway. I’d probably catch a cold, if not chlamydia,
I’m thinking a hearty piece of sirloin and a nice port. I’m heading out early to my brother’s house on the 1st, so probably no late night.

No booze for me on the 31st. Maybe later on after coffee and breakfast New Year’s Day. Maybe.

I’ll go to bed at the usual time, get up at the usual time. I usually know when it’s New Year’s Day because all the neighbor kids set off fireworks at midnight. This wakes me up enough to register the fact, and roll over and go back to sleep.

The racket upsets my dog, so I’ll make sure it gets a good run outside before bedtime. It won’t go out in an active fireworks display, no matter how urgent.

    Me too!
My plans for the evening are: light dinner, maybe I’ll buy a cake for dessert, then a little gaming session until 21.30 then I’ll watch Star Wars Episode III (I’m re-watching all episodes to forget the delusion for Ep.7). I don’t know if I’ll remain awake until midnight but if so probably I’ll be in bed reading.
F~~~ the standing up for hours in cold and crowded squares filled with drunk people. There isn’t even the chance to get laid because usually the groups are all males and, when there are women, they’re all engaged with someone. In television there is the countdown to midnight with final toast but I haven’t been watching tv for 14 years.
Thus, for me, this celebration is a waste of time on all levels.

Happy new MGTOW year to all!

I hate going out on News Years as I have never cared to celebrate it anyway. Tomorrow I will get takeout from one of my favorite Japanese places, come home, watch another episode of Into The Badlands, read the new comics that come out, and then play some more Ryse: Son of Rome that I got from the Steam sale.
