For Christmas my dad got me an indoor plug in grill appliance. It’s a 4 in 1 combo; grill, open grill, griddle, and grill/griddle combo. I just tried it out with 2 chicken breasts, and man that makes some good chicken! I’m not just going to do chicken; there’s fish, burgers, eggs, pancakes, sausage. I’m going to love this gadget if it’s already given me a great chicken breast dinner. Forget the frying pan where I fried my meats with oils and make the food stick. This grill, may cook slower than the pan way, but that extra time produces great food.

Like I said, I’m loving my new grill. I’m glad I asked for it and I’m glad my dad got it.

My mom also got me a rice cooker which is also a combo, but I haven’t tried it out yet. It’s still in the box.

Grilling is awesome! Over the past 2 years, I’ve been grilling on my Weber charcoal grill at least 3 times a week. In addition to gaining the experience, I’ve done so much research on the internet on different techniques and styles of grilling. There are more websites and YouTube videos with delicious recipes for you to explore than you can imagine.

As I’m a native Texan, I am EXPECTED to know how to grill a mean steak, BBQ some ribs, chicken, brisket, chops…etc. If you learn how to cook these things, you will never want to eat at a restaurant again. You will constantly compare what you can grill vs. what the restaurant grills. There is no comparison. The taste, value, and sense of accomplishment from your own work will make everything else pretty bland. Your $20 T-Bone steak that you grill yourself will taste better than any steakhouse selling the same steak for $50.

ResidentEvil7, I want to encourage you to go deeper into the pool of grilling. Learn about the different cuts of meat on beef, poultry, and pork. Investigate the differences in direct grilling vs. indirect grilling. Experiment with adding hickory, mesquite, cherry, or any other kind of wood chips to the charcoal. There are so many different spices and rubs available to season the meat. Consider charcoal chimneys, top quality electronic meat thermometers, and paraffin fire starters. You might find that it is easier than s~~~ to get a charcoal fire going. You simply will not believe the taste of food as you evolve into becoming a bad ass pit boss.

I began this journey of learning to grill right 2 years ago at the age of 45. If there is regret, it is that I wasn’t doing this s~~~ 20-25 years ago. But then, the internet with all of its great recipes and videos was not quite that available as it is now.

I’m on my 3rd George Foreman grill. I love the thing. They last about a year with me, but there so cheap getting a new one is never a burden. I can cook one of something and I don’t need any more for just me. My oven and dishwasher only get used at Thanksgiving and they are a huge waste of space for a bachelor.

In everything there are levels of skill. A MGTOW should aspire to the highest level they can achieve in anything they can do.

Last night I grilled 2 whole boneless chicken breasts and they turned out great and juicy. This afternoon, I griddled 10 eggs, but had some trouble. I made it too hot, I guess. The manual doesn’t tell you what kind of foods cook at what temperature. So I guessed to make those eggs at 400 degrees. Some of the eggs came off easily, and some gave me a little trouble. I guess this one of those things you get better as you use it more.

Good thing is I don’t have to worry about oils, oil messes, spending some of my $92 SNAP on oil and lemon juice (fish) and putting it in my body. Tonight I’m going to try fish on it. But right now it’s soaking in the sink. Some of those eggs were sticky. Pancakes are another thing I like to make and screw up (I burn it too fast), and to do better with.

It’s a Farberware, not a George Foreman. My dad tried to find a Foreman, but he didn’t like it, and went with something all metal. No matter what, I’m loving it, and I love what it can do for me; I can eat better and save money on oils and lemon juice.

What’s the grill called? Can you post a pic? I’m looking for the same thing and would appreciate your input.
