My Introduction

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I filed for divorce in 2008 and waited 2 years for the no-fault divorce to be finalized. It became final in 2010 and I have been single ever since. Went through some stuff in the process and managed to hang on to my pension and lost everything else. I was married for 9 and a half years. The house was paid off and now it’s hers. She got the 401K supplemental retirement account and the money in the savings as well. I got to keep her on my insurance and pay for it, three quarters of her car payment and $1,o50 a month in spousal support. Luckily we didn’t have any kids. To say the least, it could’ve been a lot worse. I have no contact with her whatsoever and I have no regrets either. I’ve been hanging around this site for awhile and decided to join. I feel that as a man I have a duty to share my experiences with other men so that they may avoid the mistakes that I have made. Mainly marriage and all the other pre-nup BS that goes with it. I read the stories here and wish that a resource like this would have been available back in 1996, before I met my future ex. I remember how naive I was to think that I had met one who was “different” from the other women. The faces and plays may be a bit different but in the end, The Song Remains The Same. Glad to be here and I hope my input helps keep other men from falling for the marriage trap and all the other s~~~ tests that lead up to it.

Thank You for the warm welcome. I want to help keep spreading the word of MGTOW and about this awesome website in hopes of keeping other men from falling for the lies of women and the sham of marriage. It is the logical thing to do.
