I’m a 43 year old guy raising a 14 year old son on my own. Couldn’t be happier. We’ve been on our own for 4 years. I’m the one who gets to mold his frame to be better adapted to the realities of today’s society. We’re kind of growing together here in the 2010s to adapt to the harsh PC, Zero-Tolerance, Blue-Pill mangina world that we’re all subject to now. I often tell my son it never used to be this bad. You could ride your bike up the street without a helmet, say what you felt without getting shamed, sued or arrested…trust your mother to have your best interests at heart…wait a minute!!! You mean she never did??? It was all about her feels in the first place???

Thank the heavens above my son is in my care now. Not that I believe in the heavens, or a child’s best interests are best maintained by a woman. We haven’t heard a peep out of my son’s mother in 4 years. She became a Second Life addict…took the so called “confidence” from that game and started a real life fling with a certain regular customer after becoming a “Senior Beauty Adviser” at the local Walgreens. It’s just a glorified title of working the cosmetics counter.

But here I am, older and wiser. Lucky to be in the position I am raising my kid as I see fit. My income is my own and I’m happy to see it being spent wisely and directly benefiting me and my kid since he is with me 24/7. I’ll die first before I give a dime to my ex.

Welcome! I am glad for your son that he has such a clear headed guide for facing the crazy world we find ourselves in.

Welcome! Your intro inspires me as a father. It is always a special moment I relish in, when I hear a father that has his son these days.

Great to hear it. I lived with my Dad at that age but had to put up with a stepmom too. Bonus round: Real Estate Agent.

This is a great place to be – welcome!

Thank you all. I’ve been lurking in various forums for months and know the usual suspects’ YouTube channels. A wealth of information to be pored over and used to my advantage. Glad to be able to contribute in whatever way I’m able. Cheers.

Welcome CodeBleu! I am happy for you and envy you at the same time, just because I have to undo a s~~~ load of indoctrination my wife pours into my kids’ heads. It would be more time consuming, but a lot easier if they were just with me.

I often tell my son it never used to be this bad. You could ride your bike up the street without a helmet, say what you felt without getting shamed, sued or arrested…

I also tell them about how fun life used to be before all these nanny-state fun killing laws. And I always let them do all kinds of ‘dangerous’ aka FUN stuff. But they know they have to ‘behave’ when I’m not there. This only makes our bond stronger.
Anyway, glad to have you with us.

The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
