    My GIrlfriend’s name is GIC. Stands for Guaranteed Investment Certificate.

    GIC interest rates are not as high as 10 years ago, but its still a much better investment than women. I don’t invest in depreciating assets. Fact is, i don’t have a car anymore…don’t need one. (ironic cuz of BMW) Cars depreciate almost as fast as girls depreciate.

    My advice?
    have a diversified portfolio.
    get the 5 year GICs, cuz they have the highest interest rates.
    There are also index linked GICs which are great if the market is good.

    Sounds great. I also like setting up “certificate ladders” .. so even though they are all sixty month terms, they individually mature at staggered intervals within a five year span.

    A soon as I free myself from my POPPED real estate investment I’ll be able put my printed unstable money on another before the money itself POPS.

    This Seafoam society of bubbles is hard to invest in PERIOD!

    I think I’ll keep investing in my alternative lifestyle where all the bubbles have popped and heads explode from flying lead.

    Much SAFER investment! And the government gets DIDDLY SQUAT from my efforts! WIN WIN, FINALLY!
