Absolutely loved this story. You basically had me fooled until you mentioned Social media. I’ve yet to meet a woman who will admit her wrongs on Social Media, a platform intended for perfect fantasy identity building.

Up until that point I was assuming that she wanted to get back because either she was in deep trouble, or there is was something to be gained.
Can’t really imagine any woman apologizing to her ex if she got a better deal. Actually can’t imagine a guy going back to his ex either if he got a better deal after the relationship.

Anyway, I personally was chased by a ex girlfriend for 10 years. First few years she called every 6 months or so to check if I was “still or again on the market”. She always quickly hang up if I told her I was in a relationship. Started blocking her a few years back, but she kept on finding more creative ways to contact me. It would always start with sweet messages, quickly followed by hate messages if I didn’t respond. Just to repeat again a few months later.

So yeah, I can well imagine a woman trying to get on good terms with her ex, but only if there is something to gain from it.
