    Muhammad Ali dies aged 74.

Too much to say about this man.

He was certainly a polarizing figure. As far as relevance to these forums goes, he was a man who was very weak when it came to women.

But despite this; he was a hell of a man in most other areas and his status as a legend and icon cannot be easily disputed.

    Salut.

Im glad i was born at the right time to see his career. The foot work
,the left jab,his witt out of the ring. It seemed strange to see on the news women actuall saying the word Man or showing any admiration for a Man. Now i know some Vietnam Vets may have there own opinion of him.

RIP. Like any man, he had his flaws, but he left an indelible mark on the world.

his rhetoric caused lots of fist-fights in my school years..
    i did the “rope-a-dope ” covering up …….
    but i don’t blame him.
he did what he felt was right .
    rest in peace .
i always wonder what a man like that could have accomplished if he lived 20 more years….
a man of strong convictions is an inspiration to us all !

The man had a personality like no other and made boxing and practically made boxing into a science. Even when the US government turned its back on him, he still when on to be the heavyweight champion. He was truly the G.O.A.T.
He didn’t get name, he earned it!
    RIP, brother.

Ayn Rand was known to have admired Muhammad Ali’s “arrogance” (i.e., his pride in the knowledge that he was a champion, he had earned it, and deserved it). Her cat was named Ali.
