MSN NEws Articles No Longer Acception Comments

So my computer brings up msn.com when I pull up the web on my computer. I real hate this because it’s always the same crap on the “news feed” Trump’s a choad, women are awesome and oppressed, everything about Islam is great, etc. etc. So tonight I click on several of the stories and lo and behold….you can’t comment on their s~~~ anymore! I’m not kidding. Here’s the message that is at the bottom of their so called news articles…

MSN has temporarily removed commenting on our websites while we explore better ways for you to engage in discussion on the issues you care about.

I don’t know what to make of this, do you guys have anything that might shed some lite on this subject?

Oh and by the way, I try to stay away from the MSN, tonight I decided to see what was on there while I still had some patience left in me.

This is why mainstream corporate fake news is dying. I guarantee this was done as a reaction to CNN imploding.

Alternative independent reporting is inherently self correcting. Independents publish the facts, because if they don’t they soon get schooled in the comments.

But mainstream corporate fake news isn’t interested in facts. They just want to push the most profitable false narrative. So they are circling the wagons as hard as they can, doing everything they can to rig up echo chambers for their lies, insisting they are credible.

They must think we’re idiots.

I even saw youtube pimping a video of Dan Rather on their front page. F~~~ing Dan “Kenneth” Rather, who tried to spoiler a presidential election by claiming an obvious MS Word document was a genuine typewritten memo from the 70s.

Almost all media outlets, especially left-leaning ones, have been eliminating comment sections because the comments never reflect the agenda of the “news” report.
Most of the comments are criticisms of the lack of an actual source or biased angle being presented to elicit the media’s chosen narrative.
Some commentators post links to actual sourced facts that easily debunk or correct the reported story.
Mainstream news companies are being ridiculed and fact-checked tirelessly now, and it’s causing huge problems with their credibility and their bottom line.
Therefore, they remove the comment section and no more opposing viewpoint to tarnish their agenda or what’s left of the tatters that were once their credibility.

The BBC are the same with this type of thing – they have “have your say” sections and then delete posts or just shut the whole thing down once people call them out on their bulls~~~

Yeah I noticed that too. They don’t want people calling them on their all their crap and lies. Another thing I noticed is that they took away the email option and print option but keep the share option, especially with Facebook and Twitter. They only want you to share it and publish to your friends, but not email or print for yourself friends 1-1

Another thing they do is not put a reporter’s name on an article, especially controversial ones . It’ll just say something like, ” Yahoo! News Staff”. Protection for their liars.

One of the first qualifiers for how seriously I take a news website is whether anonymous comments are permitted.

Just like I don’t like news stories without author attributions, I cannot stand the lack of comments.

‘Below the byline’ is the opportunity to add facts and opinions, questions facts, bolster or disprove the author’s claims, etc. I often find the comments more interesting and enlightening than the story itself.

A wide range of excuses are made by media outlets for banning comments — cost of moderation, extremists, etc.

Also keep in mind major TV news networks and print publications are not news — they are entertainment channels. And echo chambers.

Education and journalism are the grease traps of higher education, they attract the worst. Sure, there are some good teachers and journalists… But most of them are awful.

The pressure is to sell ads. To do that you want high Nielsen ratings. You don’t get those by presenting dry objective news coverage.

The Main Stream Media is dying, and it won’t go down without a fight tooth and nail. The biggest that might go down is CNN, after all the lies they’ve been exposed doing through Project Veritas, the threat/blackmail of the reddit-user HanAssholeSolo posting the GIF with Trump pummeling CNN. And the ratings show them to decline in trustworthiness, which seems quite natural. So, they can be beat! They can be broken!

Some techniques; archive the links, and post the archived link, so any user can avoid the click they live off. Myself, I use AdBlock, so no revenues are generated because I don’t seem commercials! Of course there are sites I’ve White-listed (among this site, of course). AdBlock even works on Youtube. Starve the beast.
