Have you guys heard of Mr. Money Mustache? He is an extreme saver who took a very simplistic saving and investing approach and retired when he was 32. For the most part I have been doing what he advises, but I would have been better off with Vanguard index funds. You can do retirement accounts or taxable, reinvest Divs or deposit to bank account.

The dude isn’t a MGTOW, he has a wife and kids. So imagine how well MGTOW can do if they just try. I know alot of the younger men nowadays are sort of f~~~ed by the economy, feminism, all the f~~~ed up politics going on, etc. But if you just start saving and investing early you will be light years ahead of everyone else you know by the time you are 30.

Mr. Money Mustache is a great find. Thank you for the tip!

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

    hi,

just wanted to ask, how this money mustache plan going on for you guys? took a look at a website, how much percent of your income do you save? I figured I personally  could try to save up 50% if I tight up my spending. And then I guess learn how to invest money, but this looks like a tricky part. How early you want to retire? It would be sweet not to work after 40 🙂

Here are my favorite links. I am using the mgtow link shortener to test it out.

I am currently at 63% savings rate according to the formula on his website.
I am also shooting at age 40, which for me is only 5 years away..

@madman, great links, I copied them, I found like minded articles on money mustache. I have a consumption meter I use to determine a device’s actual consumption, then compare it to the label’s wattage, it’ll tell you if something is wrong with the appliance. It has an amperage setting if you can’t do the math.
