Movie Review – I, Daniel Blake

Watched the 2016 Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner I, Daniel Blake. WANING, SPOLIERS!. Tells the story of two welfare applicants who experience delays in their payments and run out of cash. People praise the social commentary of the film, but through a MGTOW prism I instead noted a stark gender differentiation in the way the male and female protagonists handled their situation.

The man Daniel Blake opted to sell his furniture and possessions in order to buy food in the interim, while the woman, single-mother Katie decides to rent out her vagina and become a prostitute to buy food. This speaks volumes about female nature. I think it’s important to note that when faced with starvation, the woman has her vagina to use as a money-maker whereas few men could use their penis, servicing women, as financial backstop. That’s Girl Power for you! Dear Social Justice Warriors, I find this situation discriminatory against men.

On a more serious note, the movie does raise the question about what society is going do about its ever-increasing welfare bill and a future where fewer and fewer employed people are expected to support a ballooning populous reliant on welfare payments –

It’s true,while women can just spread their legs when push comes to shove a guy has to either do day labour or turn to crime like theft or drug dealing.

Not highly unlike wanting to becoming a wife and rationing sex to her husband occasionally if he performs well. Esther Vilar talks about this as choice baby women make – even before puberty. You can even see 6/7/8 year old girls on the Tyra Banks show making a conscious choice to date a certain type of man (and reject another) based SOLELY on his job, clothes, and s~~~ he can buy her & how much money he makes.

Truly shocking if you’re not aware of it.
But somehow, THEY already are – even before a 10th birthday.

The only difference is the price and whether or not she’s honest about it, not the prostitution itself.

Slightly off topic: This is why, ultimately, it doesn’t matter what the actual number of Men Going Their Own Way is in society. Whether it’s 2% or 90% doesn’t matter, because, whatever the number actually is, the number of Women Paying Their Own Way will always be vastly VASTLY smaller. And that gap is why “society” has such a problem with MGTOW: There will always be far more women wanting men to pay their way for them than men willing to pay it. And the gap is widening as MGTOW increase. And that’s society’s problem, not men’s.

Take the example of the woman in this film: when she’s receiving welfare, ultimately it’s from the taxed labor of some man somewhere. When she turns to direct prostitution, it’s still men supporting her. She never pays her own way. It’s always men paying it for her.

But even if she wasn’t on welfare, even if she wasn’t a direct and honest whore, the case is still the same. Whether she’s a whore on the street or welfare parasite or a quota hired female employee receiving government mandated equal pay to a man for 70% of the actual work he does, it’s always men paying the way for women.

And Men Going Their Own Way are done with that.
