About ten years ago I told a nurse and a teacher at my son’s conference that ADHD was just a made up disease to put more kids on pills they didn’t need to make the drug companies more money. They had me escorted off the property by security. The officer thought it was funny watching those c~~~s flip out. Good times.

I agree, Phoenix. You’re 1000% right.
That mother only did that for her son, not out of worry over how boys and men are treated anywhere.
And even with that, do you guys seriously think her exposing that shananigan is going to change anything? Not in the least. It’ll be forgotten next week and it’ll be business as usual in their thought-control establishment for kids.
Things are getting all f~~~ed up in every area of their so-called society but they keep chugging along with ridiculous and temporary fixes.

If a child does not successfully achieve “society’s” standards they have a reduced market value until their respective results can be upgraded.

A reduced market value directly equates to marketability and employment as we know.

Low employment opportunities means that the young man has to continue to be supported by the family, sometimes forever.

This ongoing support directly impacts the family’s long term fiscal health.

Same thing happened to my kid almost 20 years ago. I tentatively went along with them just to observe. Took my kid to a psychiatrist to get the meds. I closely monitored his behavior just to see if I could discern any improvement. Turns out he was almost like a zombie. When I confronted the psychiatrist about it and affirmed that I was taking him off the meds immediately, he got angry and said we could not come back to his office. F~~~ that mangina asshole.

I don’t think that’s quite accurate. I think they care about children, just not raising children it seems sometimes. They treat like dolls much of the time. They tend to teach them new things primarily for the purpose of making their own lives easier. When they reach teenage years, they use their kids for social events and bragging if possible.

I know of two kids that are on the zombie meds. One is nephew and I just don’t see how it’s helping him. He rarely shows much emotion and can’t handle much of what other kids his age can. He most certainly had anger issues before, but I don’t see why giving an outlet for this aggression isn’t a better option.

The other is a neighbor’s kid. Pretty well behaved and seems fairly happy. I think he’s on a much lower dose. I have see him lose it a time or two, but the parents just shut him down. I think my son had one of the best responses to this. He explained that it was well known that he’s got anger issues, so you’re own damn fault if you trigger him and he reacts with his fist.

Personally, I think these boys are much better off in a program that burns off that energy and puts it to good use.
