I found this article on returnofkings.com and found myself nodding in agreement as I read through…it gave me food for thought from another perspective.  Thought I’d share with the class.  Enjoy!

Thanks for the link, there’s even a link to “Part II”

Every women that commented had to dismiss, redirect, shame, guilt, and attack, providing even more examples than the story itself.

There is a girl like that and I go to school with her. She lost her virginity to a 15 year old guy(she was 16 at the time). Which in the state of Alabama the legal age of consent is 16. Her f~~~ing him in the State of Alabama (which is where this happened) is like child molestation or statutory rape. If you travel to the State of Alabama and you want to avoid her, her name is Taylor Parsley. She thinks she’s bad ,but she is actually very stupid. She scored an 8 on the ASVAB.

I'm married to the game, but she broke her vows.

Most women don’t deserve to be pulled out of their car if it’s on fire.

    Fuck this planet.

If I saw a woman in a car on fire…

my main concern would be pushing the car away from any homes or businesses that it might catch fire if it’s too close.

What about the woman? Eh. Sorry, but there are laws saying that she could sue me for “molestation” if I TOUCHED her in any way in any attempt to save her. Let her f~~~ing burn. Just not those nice buildings.

JD, there is absolutely no need to publicly call out anyone. Also, IIRC, your ASVAB score that you bragged about was below average. You said a 46 or 48, I believe?

Thanks for the link, Soul Man. Well written and thoroughly thought through.

Some of it kinda reminded me of one movie night that I had with my parents a few months ago. We (and my sibs) try to get together every couple of weeks and have dinner and watch a movie together and discuss it afterwards. Sometimes the movie sucks. This particular time it was Bridges of Madison County. For those of you who still have that 2 hours of their lives left, it’s about a woman who cheats on her husband with a traveling photographer. She never leaves her husband but when she dies she leaves in her will that instead of being buried in the plot next to her husband as had been pre-arranged, she asks to be cremated and her ashes scattered over a bridge where she cheated. The plot centers around flashbacks to how the affair started and progressed, and how her children come to terms with how she justified being a cheating, lying slut.

My Dad, Mother, and Sister bought the whole “romantic affair” bit hook, line, and sinker. They couldn’t understand why my brother and I hated the message of the movie because it glorified immorality and portrayed the good people (her husband and son) as an ignorant fool and a guy with anger issues respectively.

Here’s another good read on the topic:
