Solanas was a whack job, annoyed that Warhol wouldn’t make her a ‘SuperStar’ like Edie Sedgwick, or even his transexuals, who were much better looking than her. Dunham will play her well then.

She is a feminist icon who shot a gentle and reserved gay man who championed LBTQ when it was still illegal in most places.

They sure have some strange heroines. Lou Reed wanted to execute her after. Warhol suffered greatly, he wasn’t healthy beforehand, and it started his decline. He never fully recovered.

Famed…. either she did or she didnt… can’t really have it both ways.

And really now… celebrating violence is kind of like encouraging it… not really the best idea in the current political climate.
