I think the real reason that money can’t buy happiness is that with so much money, you’re used to getting your way. No matter how rich you are, you will still go through tough s~~~, rough patches and so on. You also have to wonder if your “friends” are only there for the money as well.

I think this comes with being born rich, spoiled, not knowing what it’s like to be poor. Me, having worked s~~~ty jobs little pay, I can appreciate money. I will always remember what 10 bucks can buy, whether I make 8 bucks an hour or 18.

Money buys happiness if you’ve gone long enough without having any and had to break your back into accumulating enough that you have a lifelong security.

If you’re money was inherited, or earned through corrupt tactics chances are you’ll never really be satisfied. But once a man has freedom money becomes nothing more than a toy, or a thing.
