Recent NBC intern Erin Edwards killed by mom in murder-suicide
Erin Edwards, who interned at NBC New York, was shot by her mother in Atlanta in an apparent murder-suicide. (New York Post/Facebook)Man… All these memories lost in time.
Edwards was a doctor who graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. She owned MME Enterprises, LLC, a supplier of surgical and medical equipment, according to her Linkedin page.
Christopher Edwards II was a digital content manager for the City of Atlanta in the Mayor’s Office of Entertainment.
All three victims were members of the National Association of Black Journalists. Christopher and his mother had attended the NABJ annual conference in Miami two weeks prior to the shooting.
“NABJ extends its condolences, prayers and thoughts to the family, friends and colleagues of Marsha Edwards, Christopher Edwards II and Erin Edwards,” the organization said in a statement.
Marsha Edwards’ ex-husband, Dr. Christopher Edwards, is a prominent surgeon in Atlanta who also serves on the boards of Morehouse School of Medicine and the Atlanta Housing Authority.
“Dr. Edwards, his extended family and friends are in a state of grief and shock, and privacy of the family is paramount as arrangements are being made,” family spokesman Jeff Dickerson told The New York Post in a statement.
In the New York Post, it tags the article as being Domestic Violence. Shocking! My god, they are calling a spade a spade! GOOD JOB NEW YORK POST!
You know what sucks? Remember when I said all the good black people die early? Its not just a Hollywood trope. This is what it looks like in real life. And entire family, 24 plus years of hard work and dedication of a man to his family have been flushed down the drain. And where is the vitriol that should be firmly placed on the mother publicly? That comes from the comment section. Even the Mayor of Atlanta just seems to be enjoying her time in the spotlight. THIS WOMAN KILLED HER OWN CHILDREN! And her Luke-warm response is simply disgusting.

Her last story as an NBC intern she posted about was about goats.
There is not much or any information about the son. So here it is.
One final thing. On her Instagram. She appears to support late term abortion. I think it was Atalanta that wanted to pass laws to allow it even after birth. Well. You got your wish darling.
It’s f~~~ing sad.. I don’t agree with HER politics, but you can tell they were a happy a family.
