Molly Ringwald jumps on #meToo Bandwagon

The thing is, the scene in question did not glorify or say that sexual harassment ok. It was not ok for the character to mess with her panties, and the movie was clear since Molly’s character attacked him for it (no complaint about that?) as well as the other characters. The movie had many things that were socially wrong in it, and they didn’t really glorify anything. It was about teenagers figuring themselves out and understanding why people are who they are based on the s~~~ their going through.

Her character, Samantha, in sixteen candles, sexually objectified Jake. She knew nothing about his personality, just that he was popular and good looking, yet she was obsessed with him. That was the point of the entire movie. How is she ok with that?
